Dublin Irish Festival
August 3rd-5th, Ohio Expo Center
Every year, Dublin, OH hosts the world’s second largest Irish celebration. The festival will feature a slew of well-known performers, including Sharon Shannon, Eileen Ivers, The Stepcrew, Young Dubliners and Jiggy. Besides the music, there will be a Jameson Irish Whiskey tasting, food vendors and a Genealogy tent.
Columbus Food Truck Festival
August 17th and 18th Bicentennial Park and Scioto Mile
The Columbus Food Truck Festival is an event that foodies do not want to miss out on! This event consists of over 54 food trucks and vendors, 16 bands and two stages of live music. Admission is free for all ages, so don’t miss out!
Columbus Greek Festival
August 31st through September 3rd, The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral
Live Greek for the weekend at the Columbus Greek Festival! The Greek Festival will have a variety of food and entertainment. From traditional food, to dancing to shopping, the Greek Festival has something for everyone! While you’re at the Greek Festival, tour the traditional Byzantine style church that dates back to the 6th century, A.D.
Columbus Oktoberfest
September 7th-9th, Ohio Expo Center/Ohio State Fairgrounds
The Columbus Oktoberfest is a can’t miss event! This event features a variety of dining, entertainment and shopping. There will also be a traditional stone toss contest with prizes to the winner, Breaking of the Pretzel and a Craft Beer Garten. Tents stretch 100 thousand square feet over the event to shield it from any inclement weather.
A Taste of Italy and Italian Festival
Taste of Italy: October 1st, Italian Village
The Italian Festival is preceded with a Taste of Italy on October 1st. At a Taste of Italy, visitors can enjoy Italian cuisine, food and beverages.
Italian Festival: October 5th-7th, St. John the Baptist Church
The annual Columbus Italian Festival features a parade, bocce ball, dancing, kids event and lots of amazing authentic Italian food! The internationally acclaimed artists Giovanni San Giovanni, Salvo San Giovanni and Grazia Maria Luca will be preforming at the festival.
Boo at the Zoo
Weekends: October 19th-21st and October 26th-28th, Columbus Zoo
Boo at the Zoo is a “merry-not-scary” Halloween event hosted by the Columbus Zoo. At this event, there will be hay rides, story time, a giant pumpkin carving display and a hay maze. Guests are invited to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes. Adult attendees are also invited to dress up, but the costume can’t cover the face.
