There’s nothing like the Christmas season in Columbus. During this season, everywhere you look there’s something exciting and spectacular going on around the city. We put together a list of some of our favorite holiday events taking place throughout the Columbus area. Check them out below!

Shopping at Easton Town Center
Starting November 16thm
If you haven’t done your holiday shopping at Easton Town Center, you’re missing out! During the holiday season, this shopping center is decked out in holiday decorations, including a life-size nativity scene and a 50-foot Christmas tree!
Wild Lights at the Columbus Zoo
Friday, November 16th – Sunday, January 6th
Wild Lights is back at the Columbus Zoo for its 30th year! This family favorite event features many zoo animals, two light shows, the Polar Bear Express, camel rides, a Jingle Ball, Rudolph the Red Nosed-Reindeer 4-D theater experience and more! Tickets for this event are available online.
WinterFest
Saturday, December 1st from 11:00 am-4:00pm
This year marks the second annual WinterFest at Bicentennial Park. This event will feature local and national musical talent, favorite foods from Columbus food trucks, seasonal ales from local breweries and much more. A portion of proceeds from food and beer sales will be donation to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
Gingerbread House Decorating at Mrs. Turbo’s Cookies
Saturday, December 1st from 3:00pm-5:00pm
On Saturday, December 1st, come decorate a gingerbread house at Mrs. Turbo’s Cookies! This event will include a pre-made gingerbread house, candy, decorations, icing and hot chocolate! The best part is, you can have all of the fun you want without having to worry about cleaning up the mess! Tickets are available online.
Village Lights
Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 from 5:00-9:00pm
Holiday Lights takes place every year on the streets of German Village. This event is the official kickoff to holiday shopping. Visitors can follow luminaries from shop to shop as they look for items on their Christmas list. At StrietzelMarket on the Platz you will find ice carving, live music, mulled wine, vendors and Mr. and Mrs. Clause.
The Nutcracker
Friday, December 7th-Sunday, December 23rd
The Nutcracker is back again at the Ohio Theater. This wonderful holiday tradition follows a young and imaginative girl named Clara. Tickets for this event are available online.
